Re: Chorley V Darlington

Beck scores a cracker and makes it 1-1, it always good to come from behind.

Re: Spennymoor Away (KO 1pm)

Pleased I've got a weekend planned for York and so I don't have the dilemma of whether to go or not.

Re: Darlo’s European Hopes Dashed

I didn't know we had made a late bid to host the competition. But after the announcement of the final 7, there was a guy on the radio who runs the main Eurovision blog and the first thing he said was that we was very disappointed that Darlington as a late bid, had not made the final shortlist.

Re: Darlington V Gloucester

Very encouraging performance, some great performances and a very encouraging first game of the season. Excellent crowd of 1591, were richly entertained. Crowd figure was 1444 according to the official website. As a matter of interest did anyone on here sample the catering on offer today, and if so ...

Re: Darlington V Gloucester

What a surprise going into the bar and seeing that they had the early Premiership game on TV & at halftime they had the half time scores on, so well done on this little sign of progress from the rugby club.

Re: Rugby League

Excellent performance by Wigan in the second half against Warrington, as we score 32 unanswered points. I think if we keep Jai Field and Bevan French injury free then we'll be very hard to beat. That Jai Field try at the end was magical.

Re: Rugby League

Watched tonight's game on TV in Hull City Centre. Thought HKR were a little lucky to beat Toulouse, as a few decisions went against Toulouse and yes I know the ref made a boob when he said a HKR kick went out on the full, when clearly it hadn't. I can't see HKR making the play-offs and if they do ca...

Re: Rugby League

I must be doing something wrong, as I've been sent to work in Hull for 4 days, at least the fish and chips are more than decent and relatively cheap.

Important games this weekend at the top, the chasing back and at the bottom of the table.

Re: Rugby League

Wow Salford spring a massive surprise and beat St. Helens 44-12, which could now open the league leaders shield, as St. Helens have to play at Wigan, so they can't afford anymore slip ups.

Re: Rugby League

I agree you showed a lot of spirit, but Wigan were ruthless tonight. When you have speedsters like French & Field in your team, you have the speed which will scare any opposition. Sounds like French is going to sign a new contract, which is great for Wigan & SL.

Re: Guiseley V Darlo

We were very poor, lots of negatives I'm afraid. One positive the pork pie was delicious. One gripe was that you couldn't gain entry by debit or credit card, luckily I found just enough cash. In all honesty we were lucky to only lose 3-0. I didn't see AA by the dugout.

Re: Guiseley V Darlo

Looking better as the half went on, the grass on the pitch looks very long. Hoping for better in the second half, but there's no sign of the groundsman coming out with a lawnmower, haha.

Re: Rugby League

I see Hull KR have got into trouble with the authorities for the behavior of their fans. I thought it was Castleford fans who were the bad boys of RL, obviously that maybe not the case.

I got a burger at the Rochdale game & it was tiny, very over priced and burnt, apart from that it was excellent. I'll not be buying again until things change.

Re: Rugby League

A great win for Hull KR, but you were only playing Warrington and most people beat them. Think you might struggle this coming Thursday, as Wigan surely won't be complacent again after we were humiliated by Leeds on Thursday.

Re: Darlington V Middelsbrough

Why is this game being played at 1pm instead of 3pm? I'd have gone if kickoff had been the usual 3pm, but can't make the earlier kickoff. Hopefully our team will continue with the excellent early season form, we have already shown.

Off to Headingley on Thursday to see them play Wigan. I hope you enjoyed your night out……… Well apart from the RL I had a great time. A real shock to lose so badly, I think we were complacent and thought we just needed to turn up. Hopefully this result will help us going forward. Leeds will certain...

Re: DJ Interview 18/07/22

As far as I am concerned a hybrid setup at the club, is where some of the players are employed on a full-time basis and some are part-time. Having an extra training evening to me doesn't equate to changing to a hybrid system.

Re: Rugby League

Vital win for HKR, as it's looking dire for Wakefield, as Toulouse are looking like they'll have more than enough to avoid the drop. At the Magic Weekend it showed Wakefield's and Toulouse's next 5 game. They showed that Wakefield are playing loads of top 5 teams, whereas Wakefield's game are agains...

Feel really positive after yesterday's game. I thought that for good parts of the game we matched Rochdale & I'm really excited about Hazel & Beck up front. Beck looked really fit and surprisingly quick and he lasted the full 90 mins. Good to see a decent sprinkling of Dale fans making the trip amon...
