Re: Rugby League

Excellent performance by Hull KR last night, but you weren't up against much. But as the saying goes, 'you can only beat what is front of you'.

Re: Computer repair

I go to the computer shop next to the doctors in Bondgate, just before the lights at Greenbank Road. They've always been very professional & also offer great deals on secondhand computers & laptops.

Bad news for RL, with games being postponed because of outbreaks of Covid 19 in some teams squads.

Congrats Rob, unfortunately didn't get to see the game due to work, but I was surprised to see the result given your recent form. Hope you enjoy Wembley & beat St.Helens.

Re: Rugby League

Hardaker gets a 2 game ban & Tomkins could be banned for 3 to 5 games. Yea I saw that. I simply do not get how someone defending someone who has been attacked gets a worse punishment than the perpetrator. I am no going to say "Wigwam bias" but something ain't right. Can’t stand either of them, ban ...

I think we can beat last years amount, which would be absolutely brilliant. Yes but have you found the time to do yours yet Pete [emoji1787] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Yes I've made my contribution, which is triple what I did last year. great to see that there has almost been 700 investors,...

Agreed Hardaker lost his head, but Joel Tomkins should be punished harder for throwing the punch. Sounds like it's going to be quite a challenge to get into the game, hope things run smoothly.

Re: Rugby League

Well that was just embarrassing, as we get hammered by Catalan & don't manage to score. I know we have plenty of high profile injuries, but that's no excuse as there were enough decent players on the pitch to make it competitive. I'm in shock as to what I have just witnessed.

Re: Rugby League

Not sure what's going on at Castleford as they get hammered by Leeds 6-60. Massive game tomorrow at the top of the table, as Wigan play at Catalan & they'll hopefully void the fate St.Helens suffered last weekend.

Currently on £87,435 from 420 investors. Top effort.

I’m planning on donating on the final day, as are a few others I am sure.
I'm the same, does it run out at midnight on Monday, as I'd hate to miss making a contribution.

Re: Rugby League

Interesting to see that George Williams is returning from Australia with immediate effect, due to homesickness. I wouldn't be very surprised if he ended up back at his home town club Wigan, but the salary cap could be an issue, for whoever wants him.

PC Wright reminds me of the Tin Shed in the 1970s with PC Norman Wright. Anyone else remember him? He even had his own song which a certain hooligan element used to serenade him. Of course I was never part of that. Yes I remember him in the tinshed & the song sung just for him. I seem to remember t...

You need to be far more consistent, if you want to be serious challengers for a top 6 place. Consistency is the name of the game.

Re: Rugby League

How can Hull KR lose to previously winless Wakefield? Given Hull KR's recent excellent form, I'd say the result today must go down as one of the shocks of the season.

Tommy Taylor now confirmed. Look forward to seeing him play, was very well thought of at Scarborough. So hopefully can come in and make the slot his own. Not had a quality keeper of our own since Pete Jameson. Great news, I'm always a firm believer that a goalie needs to be over 6' tall, although w...

I've just signed the petition for you. Just watched Catalan beat St.Helens, so the only unbeaten record is Wigan's after a late Hastings drop goal squeaks us past Salford. Also surprised to see Warrington beat Castleford. Hope the petition gets this decision overturned.

Re: 25 years next week since Wembley 1996

My abiding memory of that day, was the terrible news that fan from Yarm, got run over on the way home between Doncaster & Wetherby and sadly lost his life. It put a bit if a dampner on the whole day for me. Everytime I pass the spot where he was killed I think about him.
