Harrogate RA
Tough game away this weekend against Harrogate, remembering heir pitch from last year it may well resemble a lond sloping cabbage patch by this time in the year so i think it might be another slightly scrappy game in terms of football quality, Overall though the most important thing would be a win o...

Re: Tonight's game
Didn't sound like our best game but watching the highlights the pitch looked rather bobbly and that probably didn't help on some occasions. Still sounded like good performances from Brown, Portas and Mota, which is all positive news. Great to get the win and that's what matters in the end, now we're...

Re: Tonight's game
Thompson in there as well haha. Team makes sense considering the suspensions of White and Mitch starting this weekend. Where is Robinson not even made the bench again, wonder if he's injured. Seems odd, I always think he's very solid when he plays. Stong, wins his challenges. Hope he's going to be a...

Re: New Shirt
Gone for No.1, nice to break away from the norm a little sometimes. Theres still hoops on there..... just little ones haha.
Wonder what our away shirt will be like, id quite like to see us go back to yellow for the away shirt. Will we be sporting a charity sponsor logo again too?

Re: MATCH THREAD VS OSSETT TOWN
great win for us and another boost to the goal difference, but looking at the results coming in its a perfect day for us, a game back on Salford and Spenny, and Northwich and Farsley both drop points. Very good day at the office for the lad.

Any word on whether Kev will be there with his camera or the Darlofans radio guys will be broadcasting the game? for those a little too deep in exile to make it.

Blackwell meadows development
With money being paid for pre-planning expenses and the plans now with the council, I have a few questions about the project was wondering if anyone has any answers, I'm currently in exile so can be easy to miss information that might answer the questions. What needs to be in place for BM to meet th...

Re: Todays games
Games in hand isn't ideal, but atleast our fate is still in our hands. What I really want to see now is the league shake a leg about rearranging all these postponed games, so we have definite dates that the team can prepare and be ready for. One things for certain this run in to the end of the seaso...

Re: Hatch available for transfer
As has been said above, it's not really a surprise as one comes in another goes out, and from the collection of strikers that we have Hatch was just unfortunately last in the pecking order. As others have said this is due to the successes of the likes of Armstrong and Amar rather than any of Hatch's...

Re: Top 9 teams updated Jan 12th 2015
A very thorough report haha. Pretty much agree with what you've said. I think we probably have the most difficult run in with most of our games against higher opposition to come away from home. Definitely a two horse race between us and Salford now. If we turn our games in hand into points on the bo...

Re: Todays games and latest scores (Sat 10th Jan)
Not a bad day for us at all really. Was hoping that Bamber might finish the come back against Salford, but as was said before with a new management team in place Salford did well to get the win there. Farsley got a win again, they remind me a lot of Ramsbottom last season, think they'll be very toug...

Re: John Pikey Campbell
I'm quite surprised pools didn't take a gamble on him earlier in the season. got to say i was in the camp when we first went down to NL level that we should try and get him signed up. Certainly had an eye for goal and think he could of got a decent amount in the conference if him and coops hadn't fa...

Re: Club Accounts & AGM info released
Great work from all involved at the club. Martin seems to be running a pretty tight ship and the balance sheet is reaping the rewards of that. We're looking in a very healthy position so long as we can get back to town soonish, which in turn will only make our budget and balance sheets better with t...

Got to echo the words of everyone else, great job Kev and Andrew. The highlights are always well edited and the commentary spot on. It makes it far easier to be an exile fan when you have highlights of this nature available. Keep up the good work guys

Re: Darlington v Burscough Highlights
I was debating (slightly passionately) with the fans behind me at the game. The handball that lead to the penalty for our 3rd goal... why is that not a red card? Mitch has beaten his man, who is now on the floor, run into the box all he has to do is square the ball and it must be a certain goal. But...

Re: Darlington v Ossett Albion
I agree that we didn't really get out of 3rd gear today. But in spite of that I thought this was our most complete performance of this season. Hunter and White were absolute rocks at the back. White won everything in the air. Watson was brilliant especially in his link up play with Galbraith in the ...

Re: Prescot Cables v Darlington
Portas is certainly a miss in the midfield as he's definitely our best player, however i think the team is still strong enough to get a result. One things is for sure whichever formation we play with whats on the pitch we should have plenty of muscle in the center to win the midfield battle today

If you look on this site ( http://www.footballconference.co.uk/ ) at some of the grounds in the conference north and south, theres a fair few clubs with the bare minimum in terms of structure. gives us hope that developing Blackwell meadows can be done at a steady rate.

Re: Salford City Match Tomorrow
I think most of us know that Salford will be the team to beat in the league this season. Hopefully the team will rise to the challenge as they did against Spennymoor. Watching us against Blyth i don't have a great deal of hope although we were missing key players, only Jameson who was impressive and...

Re: Three Points to Darlo
Im not trying to complain and in the main I think the sanctions by the league are fair, even though they took rather longer than was hoped to come to a decision. It also makes out league position rather more positive. However my problem with the decision is this; To result a football match that is o...

Would never wish on any fans what we had to go through in watch our club die on its feet. But I thought they played at the...

Re: So, how many of us think of Darlo as a new club ?
To me we are a new club, Hence the league we are playing in, and the fact we cannot be called Darlington FC. This to many people is a bad thing, but if you think of it from another direction theres no reason this needs to be a negative. I found it sad in the end that when I would tell my friends of ...
