I agree the lack of a reserves is always a big challenge. we should link up with one of the local northern league teams. could use them as a testing school for some of the younger lads coming through. definitely would get them used to the physicality of playing at a higher level

In a funny way this success with the youth team has to be one of the best reasons for liddle not being the first team manager. A youth system like the one we are developing where we can produce players for first team level and sell the pick on would be one way to aid the sustainability of the club.
