Re: Heritage Park
I reckon we'll be there for the first 10 games or so.
Heritage Park has been a success and a much better option than the other ground that we nearly ended up in.

Re: Leavings this Summer
I've never been one of Brown's biggest fans as to me he sometimes looks a bit out of his depth, but in the two playoff games he really made a difference. He drove everyone on, led by example and helped in setting up goals.
Two very good games last week for Gary Brown.

Keep them all. It's a tougher league and we don't want to be messing about.

Re: Leavings this Summer
Armstrong left Gateshead because he didn't want to be a full time footballer, the club went full time so he dropped down. This was when he was younger and he is now knocking on 30 odd. Why would he quit his job to give something a go that he previously rejected. I had a quick look online last night...

I was wondering the same.Henley wrote:TFDM - what's wrong with the way FCUM were set-up? I think what they've done (and the reasons why) is fantastic.
A group of fans pool together and set up their own club. All clubs were formed at some point so the newness of FCUM surely can't be an issue. Can it ??

Re: With all this ticket crap...
I would agree with all that Steve - and add that to me, it's good we're no longer the play thing of one particular man, as it's a system that's been proven not to work. Because without mentioning any names, when these "particular men" get short of money/bored/have their cunning schemes thwarted, the...

I hope all the CHADS put a tenner in the B2D fund as all people who did get a ticket paid for it as you spat your dummy out and essentially robbed the club that you say you are die hard fans of! That's bang out of order, they showed loyalty to the club by turning up even though they knew they would...

Re: Why....
Who was that? And why was that? Is Andy referring to a bit of touting going on? Anyway, there is no easy solution to this ticketing problem. A season ticket gets you into all home games - so the first game at B.M. and any other big end of season games will be covered, but for all other big games - ...

Re: Liam Hatch
I'd like him to stay - although the word is that "he's not fit enough to play a full match" Hatch makes things happen, and I would say that his goal V Spenny was the most important event of this week! If they'd had time to regroup and time waste, that would of been it for our play off dream. Hatch c...

especially given the first 30 seconds or so of injury time was spent sorting out the smoke grenade! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32506653 I can see their point, but I struggle to understand their logic behind it. Why should / would a business reduce the prices of its products when they're selling so well? As a Darlo fan, at away games, would you like to be charged a 3 times higher ticket...

Thought Hatch was brilliant when he came on and turned the match in it's head literally. No idea who was MOTM, but my vote would go to Hatchy. Armstrong for me. Players can "up" their game though. This shouldn't be a surprise to anybody . Just look at Chelsea v Bradford in this seasons FA Cup. If the Bradford players could maintain that kind of form they'd be sitting in the Premier League. Personally I feel that Lancaster can play how they want to play, or ...
