Re: Spennymoor Boxing Day
Thought Reid played very well again at the back and guessing he will be there if game goes ahead tomorrow. What has happened to Storey though? Barely makes the squad yet was arguably a really good prospect last season and provided some pace at the back which we totally lack? Is he injured, had Covi...

Re: ALFRETON ON TV
That Reece was an ordinary Alfreton fan who had paid £35+vat to be a co-commentator for the match. Might be something QTV might want to investigate.

Suspect Solihull are spending their Covid windfall. Shame as I really rated him but agree with everything Alun said. Think he may have seen this coming and so Sousa was already lined up.

Re: Support package announced
Think the point is here that no one is complaining about the 10m grant from the government What has got clubs backs up is the way it has been distributed by the National League which is a mixture of pure incompetence and complete self-interest which I think that in their arrogance they thought nobod...

Interesting article from the athletic (for those who subscribe at least) about this. Main takeaway is the lack of transparancy and responses from the National League.

Re: Curzon Ashton 31/10/20
Curzon is a great little setup. That standing terrace on the far side is excellent The only problem with it is we rarely come away with anything Four points from the five visits since we came up from the Northern League. Any stattos out there want to suggest a team we've got a worse away record aga...

Re: Support package announced
This puts a different lights on the grants. http://www.maidstoneunited.co.uk/2020/10/directors-blog-stones-co-owner-hits-out-at-misuse-of-grant/ While I think a lot of the criticisms are warranted, I'm surprised a club has put out a statement with such allegations. Be interesting to see what happen...

Support package announced
According to Oliver Bayliss
"How the National League funding will be divided:
7 National League clubs will receive 95k a month.
The 16 other clubs get £84k a month.
5 National North/South clubs will receive 36k a month.
The 37 other clubs get 30k a month.
Clubs will receive payment next week."

Re: Darlington V Tadcaster Albion FA Cup
Altrincham must also be a doubt as they seem to be backdating their isolation to the 7th and isolating for 10 days. Looks to me as though they may be interpreting rules to allow them to take part in FA cup. We need to cross our fingers very hard that we don't have to withdraw.

Re: SEASON POSTPONED?
Looks like no fans allowed, and our league says with no fans, no games! Its depressing isn't it? It is also worrying for clubs in general and their ability to survive. What is even worse is having to spend Saturday's with out an excuse to get away from the missus I should imagine that's a two way s...

Think this will be really good for us. Always thought we were at a disadvantage with Wednesday as that meant all things being equal we would play the following match on a Saturday against a team who had had an extra day's rest. The teams we played on Wednesday would have had the same time since Satu...
