Re: Northern Echo and last nights trouble
Would have been interesting. No doubt the hooligans would all have carried anti-aircraft weapons, and the American's would have airstriked it. Possibly with an elephant charge and an erupting volvano or two. Not to mention a picture of a nun, a small child and Mike Amos, cowering in an alley. Shrew...

Re: Support for Quakerz
Why oh why did we not cast our net further in the search for a replacement for Penney, surely there are others who would have relished the chance to manage Darlo! M-26-7 Because the administrators were in charge and appointed Todd!! Quackers should keep his absurd comments to himself until we have p...

Re: Todd out
Predictable rubbish from Quackers. Todd is still pulling together his squad so let's wait another 10 games and see what the state of the table is. I said before the start of the season that we would finish 15th or 16th and I still believe that. Our target this season should be to finish 22nd so star...

Re: Darlo out of admin!
Right I must have missed it before, so can somebody run it by me again how averaging 3k which is about last seasons average and 1,000 less than previous seasons, is a great achievement? Thanks. because in the second half of the season attendances dwindled to around 2,500, plus that 3k we were getti...

Re: Guardian Season Preview
There's more chance of us going down than making the play offs, although I don't believe we will be relegated.
15 or 16 would be my estimate - and I would be quite happy with that.

With a chairman and manager that has already shown they actually care about the fans and wants to treat us as valued customers and involve us with the club, I can see some of the stayaways coming back.

Robbie Painter's equaliser in front of the Darlo fans at Leeds in the League Cup. Fantastic moment. David McGurk's last minute header at Kiddy when we got a 1-1 draw undr Hodgy. We were rock botom and going down until that goal went in. Weren't many Darlo fans there but the celebrations were top not...

It's heartening to hear what was said at last night's forum. It's early days yet but I'm pleased that the new regime at the club appears to want to communicate with the fans and involve them, rather than having a chairman who was abusive to the supporters and a manager who cared so much for the fans...

Re: New kit pictures up on the official site
Had it not been for Bazza's goals we would have been relegated. Look at his scoring record. Not much wrong with that. We have had far, far worse strikers than him. The standing ovation he received when he was substituted a few minutes before the end of his final game in his first stint for us says h...

Re: Teams with money
The club was never going to break even, it wouldn't have taken an extra 6280 to prevent the shite that went on. Sub-3000 crowds were a piss-take, I firmly believe that crowds over 5000 (total) should have turned up and I'm still scratching my head as to why they didn't. Even at this level, it would...

Try telling that to the purveyors of doom on here.
They really don't get it, do they?
Perhaps they'd be happier if we were warming up for our first season in Northern Leasgue division 2.

I got my season's mixed up Ray. Certainly it looks like the budget was increased again during last season, after being slashed back from £2 million. But at the time Griffin, Poole, Fortune etc were signed we had fuck all to play with. Everybody knows that. Agreed. Not like you to get mixed up thoug...

If we were paying that amount of money to Carlton then it adds further weight to the belief that we had a budget that was well above the figure some people would have us believe.... Presuming everyone is fit, we can stick out a decent first eleven that I would imagine can compete with the majorty of sides in League 2.
