Re: Reminder Fans Forum tonight

He has been saying that for 3 years just can’t see it happening, good that Ray is asking the right questions but everyone just looks fed up and I wish Stockdale would stop grinning. If Chris continues to be in his role over-seeing the finances, then the club will continue to be in a very solid fina...

Re: Reminder Fans Forum tonight

It sounds like DJ has explored all the options, and we're left with stay at BM as we are, or try and get our own stadium built to enable revenues to grow. If DJ think there's a real opportunity to get the latter done, then I'm happy to trust him on that. There's nothing inherently wrong with stayin...

Re: Reminder Fans Forum tonight

All really interesting, although I am somewhat troubled by who would be building this stadium and what they really get out of it? I wouldn't trust dodgy Houchen as far as I could throw him. All that aside... I'm curious what land he is looking at. There's not a lot of spare land going in Darlington...

Re: Reminder Fans Forum tonight

Not an axe to grind more being realistic, management of both boards need to say they are happy to be at NL level for next 3 years or so until we have a plan to develop new fully owned stadium, it was always going to be a long haul.

He has been saying that for 3 years just can’t see it happening, good that Ray is asking the right questions but everyone just looks fed up and I wish Stockdale would stop grinning. 1) You blatantly have an axe to grind with the club. It's truly dull. Stockdale delivers a comprehensive review of th...

Re: The attendance next Saturday.

Can’t believe people are arguing whether we respect the dead or not. IMO it would be a good gesture to hold a minutes silence for all those who have lost their lives through Covid whether they are Darlo fans or not after all our USP is we are a community club that operate and help in the wider Darlo...

MARTIN GRAY - COME ON DOWN.
Can’t see him going for Gray with the money Brad has invested into the club he will want someone with the experience to get them up the leagues.

MG was talking about NLN, not NL as some are inferring.
And I never knew that most of Tommy's signings didn't have another job. That's interesting.
I’m sure I’ve heard in the past to be competing effectively in NL a playing budget of £600k plus is required.

Re: Liam Ravenhill

A very honest assessment of last night’s performance by AA. Clearly we are short on numbers especially in the spine of the team. Plenty of cover at fullback with Hedley Smith Griffiths and Hope. Similar story with wide attackers Rivers Mondal and De Santos but short of central defenders and central...

We were really poor last night, IMO I think we will be mid table this year. There are just to many clubs with deep pockets that have secured better players.

Unfortunately like a lot of Northern towns Darlington has a lot of uneducated racists who are only concerned with skin colour, they follow DFC and we all know who they are you just have to hear the comments in the tin shed.

Interesting to see him at the first training session tonight. Hopefully means we're still in the running to sign him.
Can’t see it happening dropping to part time and NLN - he will be more ambitious than that. Superb if we do though.

Getting out of the NL to L2 is the hard bit once in L2 I believe you get £1.5m/£2m from the league plus a substantial amount for an academy more than enough to compete in L2. Plus increased season tickets and more away fans and any off pitch corporate which Singh is looking to do so should all help ...

Chatting to one of the directors of the DFCSG he made a similar point that a lot of the investors are older and with them not spending through Covid they have a bit more to play with so he is quietly confident we will reach target.
