Re: Business Plan for new home in tomorrows echo
Tim, Building new stadia is never that straight forward, see below: "Maidstone United elected to ground share with Sittingbourne (where they remained until 2009 when they opted to ground share with Ashford before returning to Sittingbourne for the 2011–12 season) while they tried to engineer a move ...

Re: 'West Auckland' on NLZ...
Another gem from the NLZ......... My understanding of the situation is that West have made the decision to discourage large numbers attending the game. Their committee are nearly all in their 60's 70's & even 80's and do not want the hassle or responsibility of a large crowd. They are a NL CLub tha...

I agree I'll be there with my son. I reckon 750 will go it's 5 minutes on the train it's our closest game along with Aycliffe plus there 1 point of 3rd place which makes it more attractive to anyone who's not on here. You'll have a long wait for a train. West Auckland railway station closed in 1962!

COVERED MARKET SHOP
I'm aware the shop is currently closed and is moving to another unit within the market. Does anyone know when it is expected to re-open? There is no information on the old unit nor on the official website to explain what is happening. I'm concerned that regulars will be turning up and expecting to b...

Is it clear from Ray's tweet whether we will be at home or away to Celtic Nation? It would be a shame to lose a home slot before Christmas.

If you think of England as a right-angled triangle, then the centroid is 1/3 of the height up from the base, which is about where the split between the Conference North and South sits.

Re: TRUST/SUPPORTERS CLUB BUS FOR SATURDAY
If the bus is becoming so popular, it may be worth considering putting on a second bus for home games. Pete, Our margins aren't big enough to make the leap to two buses on the number that was turned away on Friday. We've had a Wednesday match, a Friday match and this will be our first Saturday matc...

Re: Miserable Norman
I would have thought the sight of 1500 Darlo fans around him at a match would make him think twice about writing his fictitious hate mail. I put DFC first and I intend to go to every match. I agree, nothing would give me more satisfaction than hearing 1500+ Quakers fans singing "Norman, Norman, giv...

The away match at Shildon should be interesting. Indeed, so could the home match on 17 November assuming Miserable Norman will be amongst the party of visiting directors.

TRUST/SUPPORTERS CLUB BUS FOR SATURDAY
On Friday there was a mad rush for seats on the Trust/Supporters Club bus for the Dunston match, to the extent that the Club Shop had to turn quite a few away. This Saturday (and from now on) we have a slightly bigger bus with seats 80 (previous bus had 73 seats) but standing will not be allowed und...

Re: Will future games be made all ticket?
As Quakerz says there's bags of room but the stadium is only has a safety certificate for 2004. So one reason I wouldn't go all ticket is that once you make this decision you are stuck with a capacity of 2004. Whereas, pay on the gate the stadium could easily absorb 3000 and nobody would be the wise...

This is why im slightly worried about the other bus. I hope amongst all of this people don't forget Marske on Tuesday - a game where we'll take the gate receipts unlike the Bishop game where we get zero. I thought we played well today and we are definitely a threat going forward. For the first goal Emms took down the ball and hit a right foot shot, only to see it pushed away by the 'keeper but then the ball fell kindly for Dowson who had the simple task of heading the ball into the back of an empty...

If you live in travelling distance of the Civic, make the effort to go. You'll not regret it. Great show. If you can get of 9 mates to go with you, the group discount reduces tickets to £15 each - bargain. In fact if there's 8 of you, buy 10 tickets and you save a tenner!
