Re: Northern Premier League Announcements
So I am hearing that at a meeting yesterday clubs were told FA putting a new rule that if you refuse promotion you will be automatically relegated by the FA moving forwards. I assume this applies to Step 5 and the Northern League. I do wonder if that will start to reduce the inflated salaries in th...

Re: New stand now under construction
I think that the temporary seats should be priced up to be moved, after all we did pay for them and the whole idea IIRC was to improve the view/experience whilst we were at Heritage Park. It's an asset that we own, sat at another ground. Even if it costs a fortune, it's surely worth putting the fee...

Re: Clock's ticking for Spendy
one reason for sure why people don't attend is there is no (regular) shuttle bus service to and from Blackwell lets say 1 hour before and 1 hour after the match and on a cold day its a fair hike for some people who just choose to stay in the pub and have a pint where its warm. You can also add to t...

The bar issue was never an issue at HP... You could go get a pint 10 minutes before HT and could drink up in your own time afterwards... the times I've been in the bar at BM it hasn't opened until bang on HT... so what's now different...? The hosts? Every single away fan I've spoken to this season h...

Re: Striker option
It is quite clear we are lacking in this area, Styche aside. Maybe it's worth offering Steven Rigg formerly of Penrith and Carlisle Utd a trial or short term contract? Yes injuries have prevented him from playing regularly recently but was pretty prolific in non-league? I believe he is unattached s...

Re: Brad Gascoigne
I'm sure that TW knows what he and we need to improve the team. So I very much doubt that he would bring in somebody that us not rated by fans of his previous club. TW isn't even rated by the fans of his previous club... That isn't unusual for fans not too rate their previous manager. In fact it's ...

Re: Brad Gascoigne
It was the Nuneaton fans who first said they had heard Gascoigne would be reunited with TW and then had their say on his merits or otherwise. Maybe it won't happen but it's a legitimate matter for discussion when fans of another club suggest we are going to sign a player. I don't think their fans h...

Thanks very much for paying us compo for a manager that the majority of our fans wanted sacking! Enjoy! 8-) You came all the way over here and registered just to tell us that. Don't want them to go into administration, but the signs don't look good. A 10 point deduction would put them near the bottom and staring relegation in the face. I've always said that one day we would end up in the same league again. How sickening would it be if they got relegated and we got relega...

We have been refused entry into the Quaker lounge twice in the last month, once the rugby club were using it, not sure the excuse for the York game.I always buy 50/50 tickets rather than food or drink, that will never change until we see decent signage to indicate that the football club are some pa...

Apparently they borrowed Dagenham's training gear on the weekend and had to wear their away kit because the home one and the training gear is being held by the laundrette until they pay them their unpaid bill.

Well whatever the build up it's almost game time. Looking at the echo it seems that Galbraith, Portas and Trotman...

We need to sort ourselves out... The Chairman said there's no plan or any consideration around relegation, well he's probably starting to change his mind because we're looking very precarious. Personally, i hope if the council do go for a sporting village, they put it at Blackwell. It's a much better location than the Arena. As an aside, if we're going to build a separate clubhouse and 3G pitch on site, I wonder if long term that could form part of a separate stadium, and we could move t...

Am I right in saying that the Rugby club own the land at BM? I know if we leave now we would be liable to pay back any grants. What happens if our landlords move (to a new sports hub) and sell the land from under us? If we moved with them would we still be liable? I believe grants would have to be ...
