David Moyes

Confirmed as the new manager of Real Sociedad.

Good luck to the man - I still don't think he was given a fair crack at United and he'll be desperate to prove the doubters wrong.

Given Manure's form this season, they may well have done him a favour.

Going forward, yes. They've also spent a s*** tonne more money this year.

Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

No they aren't, but fans look at the performance and are encouraged that it shows signs that better times are ahead.
Moyes didn't seem comfortable spending money, and rarely did the team look like it could develop into a good team.

Did Moyes really get the chance to show he wasn't comfortable spending money?

Was he given sufficient backing in his first transfer window?

I think Moyes was ultimately not given the support in the transfer window because Ed Woodward was also new to his role.

If David Gill had stuck around for the first year of Moyes' reign then I think they'd have had more success in that first transfer window and possibly things would've turned out differently.
