Fortunate to have such a good chairman, just goes to show the financial madness at the top end of football, clubs gambling heavily to get to the promised land of the Premier League.

£20.4m loss on top of an £18.4m loss the year before is ridiculous. Interested to see that the article doesn't state what the totla debt is now at the club, but it must be huge.

£100million nowadays for finishing 20th in the PL isn't it? Plus parachute payments for 3 years, worth a punt?

Don't they get about £1m for every game that is televised on top of that?

I wonder how many of the 15,000 bandwagon jumpers will be trying to flog their tickets for next Saturday now?

I sit next to a Boro ST holder at work. Needless to say that I'd be a very happy bunny if they don't go up, can't stand them.

I work with a few people who have all bought tickets for the game against Brighton next Saturday.

None of them have probably attended a game for over three years.

I can't wait to see their faces on Monday morning.
