Be interesting to see what he's like. The Boro youth keepers we've had are normally pretty good (or better!), and Armstrong has been after him for a while.

Some loan signing this, looks like he will be playing on Saturday if Saltmer is carrying a knock. Not sure of the rules but a bit surprised we can bring someone in this soon before the game.

I thought you could sign any player on loan as long as registered by lunchtime day before the game

Rule 15 . h . (ii)
...

Any such registration must have been received (with all relevant documents completed) by The Association or League by 12 noon on the Friday immediately prior to the date fixed for playing the Round,

Could be one of the most short-lived Darlo careers going, but welcome to the new lad! Here's hoping he gets three games for us!

In normal times what do you think the gate would be? I’d say at least 2000 would be packed into BM today Image

Without a doubt, would have been a great atmosphere.

2000 plus I reckon. Great weather after all the cold and dark, plus a winnable* cup quarter final.

Let's get through to the next round, the players know what is required, it won't be easy but the players do their jobs well and it's job done. Com,on Darlo.

Brynn; Hedley, Hunt, Storey, Liddle; Rivers, Hatfield, Wheatley, Sousa, Campbell; Maguire.

Hedley getting the nod over McMahon, Maguire back from injury.

Happy with that team. Sure the players don’t want this to be the final game of the season so every incentive.

It's great to hear Hodgy in the commentary, you can still hear his passion towards in the club in his voice. Hopefully Hornchurch will tire in the second half.

Hodgie keeps on banging on about them tiring. I hope he’s right as they seem unpredictable and the game is scrappy.

Sousa is great and offers something different. But my word he can be frustrating.

Several times today he’s cut in-field to go for glory, when there was a much better pass on.

I agree he offers something different and I agree can be frustrating but do you really think he's great?

I think for us he’s been excellent since joining and I’d much rather have him in the squad than not.

He hasn't done it often enough in games for me so so he doesn't get the "great" status. He has 21 minutes to change my mind!

Frustrates the bloody life out of me the times he goes for glory rather than play it simple.

I think you’re reading too much into the “great” description. It was more to say that I like him and think he’s contributed a lot since joining.
