George Smith is a good signing. Fairly impressed with him when I have seen him play for Harrogate & Gateshead.

Jordan Cook doesn’t have a club, and is based in the Sunderland area. I’d be surprised if we don’t ask the question given we only have Charman upfront.

Appears a decent signing and with the new squad AA has put together and it takes time to gel I think we will be mid table end of season.

At least wait until AA has finished building his squad before pushing us into mid-table! AA has always done well with his signings , certainly more hits than misses

If we get our hands on a commanding , experienced centre back and a powerful, athletic centre mid who can chip in with 7-8 goals a season , I’ll be pretty happy with the basis of our starting 11

Seems like George Smith has a decent pedigree, so hopefully he should be an upgrade on Michael Liddle, who was good at grinning and bombing forward, but not much good at defending if the truth be told.

Kallum Griffiths should be an upgrade at right back on Ben Hedley (he did not let us down at all though), Lexus Beeden should hopefully strengthen us due to not being Louis Laing, and of course when we sign David Wheater he is sure to be better than Nicky Hunt (he was decent enough but not as good as expected considering his career)

As for the keeper I know nothing about him but to be fair he only needs to be alive to be better than most of our keepers from the last 2 seasons.
