Armstrong describes him as a 'Combination of Will Hatfield and Joe Wheatley'

That'll do for me.

Interesting one. Welcome Alex. He certainly has the pedigree.

Seems to have been a very popular player among the Guiseley fans before his move to Sweden.

"Good luck Alex for the future, you have been a loyal servant to us and fully deserving of this move. As mentioned above your work rate is non stop and a player who always gives their all is one who is respected by the fans."

That one was out of the blue. But a good signing based on the past opinion of him from Guiseley. Plenty of experience at this level and a little from the league above. Welcome to the club Alex look forward to seeing plenty of him this season.

Got to say I'm really liking the look of what we're putting together this year. Got everything crossed we can tempt Wheater and O'Neill in and we can have a really exciting squad on our hands.

Cracking replacement of Omar from AA, young experienced lad who has played full time elite football and prepared to drop down to move up again. Pleased Will spoke positively about our club and convinced him to join, might allow Will to get forward a little more

Sounds like the Guiseley fans rated him, which is always a decent sign. With so many new faces, it will be interesting to see how they get on. Hopefully there is a camera at Newton Aycliffe tomorrow to provide an early glimpse!

Wheater has moved back to the NE and looking for a local club apparently. Would imagine several clubs including us will be after him and wouldn’t be surprised if Gateshead are one of those.

Nice to see Will Hatfield advising AA of a prospect. Sure he was a positive factor in getting the business done

They are indeed. £7 adults, £5 concessions to get in. Card payment preferred on the gate. https://twitter.com/NAycliffeFC/status/ ... 52485?s=20

Can anyone attending make sure they get some pictures of all players in darlo attire, then the real detective work can begin.

Please

Seems like a very decent signing, at a good age, with plenty of NLN experience.

I still think we need a centre-back, another centre-mid, two wingers and a centre-forward to compete with Charman.

We’ve lost a lot of pace with Campbell & Sousa departing, so I’d like to see someone brought in with that ability.

They are - but I was acually thinking about highlights as I'm not going!
