Fixture list
Start the season with AFC Telford at home. Brackley (A), Alfreton (H) and Curzon (A) after.
Spendy away on Boxing Day with the home game on Jan 2nd.
End the season away to Kidderminster.
Also looks like they’ve ditched packing August with 7 or 8 matches. Just the four this time. Season is more back-loaded now with more games in April. Here’s hoping for a dry winter, or there could be a packed end of the season.

Dammed if they do dammed if they don't? I would not like to be the Fixture Secretary.Darlogramps wrote: ↑Wed Jul 07, 2021 12:15 pmStart the season with AFC Telford at home. Brackley (A), Alfreton (H) and Curzon (A) after.

Re: Fixture list
Seems sensible to me not to have too many games in August after most teams have not played competitively for 6 months. Also still only 21 teams in the league this season so a couple less games to fit in.
Re: Fixture list
Probably not loaded the front end of the season just in case there are restrictions brought back should COVID go mad again

Re: Fixture list
Think also, usually the season would end last weekend of April (it did in 18/19, the last completed season).
But the last April weekend is a Bank Holiday, so the season finishes a week later. Which means one fixture can be taken out of that crammed August naturally.

Re: Fixture list
I think this will be the first time since we were in the Northern League that we'll have finished a domestic season in May!
The dates are almost concurrent with 2004/05 season, I recall we played Cheltenham at home on the last day of that season on May 7th and won 3-1 but still missed out on the play offs by all of 3 goals to Northampton, how times change! Strangely enough three teams who lined up along side us in League 2 that year are now with us in the NLN Boston, Chester and Kidderminster.
The EFL seems like a distant memory now but hopefully now we'll start taking the first steps on the journey back, I was hoping for a decent fixture for my birthday weekend but Blyth away it is! I'd like to say I'm on the fence about going to Spenny on boxing day as well but it would hardly be appropriate would it?

Re: Fixture list
Is there a way of dropping the entire fixture list into my Google Diary?
Re: Fixture list
Just gone through the fixtures only one home night game in March scheduled to date. Shame as I like night games.
