Re: York sign Mark Beck
Apparently we were in for him aswell, would have loved to have seen him back here.
Re: York sign Mark Beck
Beck will have wanted full time football (which is why he left us I believe), we cant compete with teams like York financially (they were charging £12 to get into friendlies, and 2000 tickets sold, so financially very lucrative friendlies ).Yorks forward line looks really good to be honest, how Watson is going to keep them all happy may be an issue.
Let's hope defence is not as good and we score one more than them in our games

Would have loved to have Mark Beck back but sadly he is probably beyond our financial resources. Still excited about seeing Charman and Mondal play and hopefully we can add some more firepower soon.
Re: York sign Mark Beck
Be interesting to see who is involved this afternoon. A potential signing who we all have heard of may be present, although unlikely to be playing yet.

Give us a clue Robbo
Re: York sign Mark Beck
Pop along today and you will find out. His name has already been mentioned but he’s nowhere near match fitness. Would be a highly popular signing if it comes off. That should be enough of a clue

Sounds like Andrew Nelson.
Sadly live 150 miles away so will be QTV for me.

Great shout Adam, fit or not he would be some signing and the type of player AA has been targeting with aspirations on getting into the EFL at some point.Vodka_Vic wrote:Sounds like Andrew Nelson.

His previous Club's local rag refers to him as "Injury prone." We don't seem to have much luck recently with such players. Anyway if true the medics and AA will decide.QUAKERMAN2 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 24, 2021 11:13 amGreat shout Adam, fit or not he would be some signing and the type of player AA has been targeting with aspirations on getting into the EFL at some point.Vodka_Vic wrote:Sounds like Andrew Nelson.

Yes some forward line up at York and a target man for Charman ,ight just work from time to time , York who are still throwing loads of money to get out this league on paper very strong. However there were some good young lads playing for Newcastle U23's who could do a good job on loan if AA inclined,
