I know AA has said that the centre half needs to be experienced, but does this really have to be the case? As stated, Jake Cooper is only 20, but Will Smith and Josh Heaton are examples of young centre halves that have improved us.

He has also played 30 games at this level and managed to get 3 goals as a bonus. So he'll know all about the physical side of National North football and by all accounts did very well at Gateshead and loved the challenge.

The only worry being he played at Gateshead alongside Mike Williamson - an experienced centre half...

From the highlights Lexus seemed to do okay. He's only played 30 minutes of 270 so hopefully some game time will give him the experience.

Theres a player there but he looked like a kid playing in the park, with a good experienced CB alongside he will be ok.

“Brandon Taylor will be missing because of illness”.Probably a broken heart.
Could be a while before we see him again.

According to Rotherham JC is only with us till 1st jan on loan.
He is some prospect just needs more time and is currently 5th in line at centre back.

Jake Cooper - hope he is more like Terry Cooper than Tommy Cooper. Let us give the lad a chance
(Young 'uns won't get these references - tough, Google them)
