Lambert has looked brilliant since he came back and he's adding goals.

Fingers crossed words will be eaten by the end of this!
Clearly you and I are a jinx on these "local" away matches and like today we should stay away more often!

4-0 Rivers in on the act. Sell Charman immediately he has obviously been holding us back 😂

We will need the likes of Lambert and Rivers to really step up in Charman’s absence.
A few more questions posed in this vein please if it results in performances like this!

Think it’s safe to say the Farsley monkey is well and truly off our backs now.

Tyrone on and makes it 5. Is this our best away since Whitby?

We obviously need to sell Charman as he has been holding us back and turn Blackwell Meadows into a cabbage patch.

What a strange game. We were on the back foot early on and hanging on, trying to get out of our own half in the face of their pressing game and loads of corners. But we never looked back once it became the Jack Lambert show and it was just a question of how many we would score on the gluepot pitch which didn't seem to inhibit our passing game. They were chasing shadows and couldn't live with our great attacking play which kept opening them up. Probably should have been 7 as it looked a certain penalty when Rivers was brought down but incredibly he was booked for diving. But I'll settle for that and the playoffs in sight. Oh, and the league's top scorers to boot.

That was such a fun away day . The weird thing is it started like our past defeats against Farsley with them getting in our faces and being on top and then we erm we won 6-0 . Could easily have been 8 or 9 as well .

Enjoyed the game obviously we were outstanding.
Again though I’ve got to question the organisation of Farsley, two sets of fan’s in the same stand, no police present, it’s just unbelievable, what are the organisers thinking ?

Indeed, and what a way to do it. Chorley is now our worst away record - 1 pt from 12.

Was there an issue?

Do we segregate for Farsley at home - genuinley I have no idea if we do or not? Would it be a game that would result in a police presence inside the ground?

As others have said, we really struggled to get into the game on a terrible pitch. The first goal was very much against the run of play, but after we scored it was one way traffic & we played some lovely footie on a terrible surface. The crowd issues were very much handbags at 10 paces. I was pleased to see one of their fans castigate the Farsley boys about singing out at Tommy Taylor, they stopped. Rather strange that the Farsley fans were singing that 'Jimmy Saville was one of their own'. Overall a very enjoyable game, it's not often we see Darlo score 6 in an away game.

If we play like that on a ploughed field, do we need to dig up the drainage at BM? :D

I think their keeper made some sort of complaint about a few plastic beer glasses being chucked in his vicinity after one of the goals. I know clubs like to cash in when we take a sizeable following like today but I'm still not sure of the wisdom of selling beer to be taken onto the terraces. Although it probably helped to fuel boisterous backing for our boys which the players clearly appreciated.

I had a great day, plenty of beers with the lads. Darlo won 6-0.

For everyone who seen me & said “be good today Andy”…
I did - I loved it. Today was a proper away day

The league needs to sort out this issue of beer being taken outside onto the terraces. Is it not allowed. I always thought it was illegal to allow it to be sold for consumption in seats or terraces.??????

Correct this practice should be stopped. Some clubs seem to value beer sales as more important than crowd safety.

We can always take the German approach - allow beer in the stands and provide umbrellas to the stewards to protect opposition corner takers from beer showers...

No we don’t. The last time we played Farsley at home (with fans) - for a short while I stood next to and chatted with the Farsley Vice Chairman.

Just when I was worried about losing Charman in the transfer window, Lambert & the lads turn it on! Key to the whole thing was surviving the first 15mn when Farsley had 8 corners. Taylor & defence held firm and kept a clean sheet. Now am worried about the loanees returning but trust AA to do the right thing & keep up our progress towards the play-offs.

No we don’t.
So in answer to what were the organisers thinking. Probably that grown adults could behave themselves at a football match and there isn't intel to suggest it would be an issue.

I thought it was down to licensing over anything else. Why does it only seem to become a visible / reported problem at ground we visit when we are the visitors?

Get real instead of trying to be argumentative. This drinking at grounds is a "visible / reported
problem" at grounds all over the country.. it does not matter who are the visitors.

My main point is, two sets of fans in the same stand, all teams have their own followers who given the opportunity will take things to far.
Although there might not be segregation at BM for certain games (Farsley included) away fans are told on entry you can go anywhere in the ground apart from the tin shed, I just find it incredible the way organisers think, and to say hopefully everyone will act like grown ups, well unfortunately that just doesn’t happen anymore.

Are they? We have a person at home games telling away fans they can't go in the tin shed?
