Stockport..£131,000!!! Think ours is reasonable considering what we must have banked and all the ingoings and outgoings.
Re: Agent's Fees
Agree. Does the table mean that all the other National League clubs not shown on the list didn't pay any agents fees?don'tbuythesun wrote: ↑Fri Apr 01, 2022 9:15 amStockport..£131,000!!! Think ours is reasonable considering what we must have banked and all the ingoings and outgoings.

Re: Agent's Fees
South Shields nearly 9k ridiculous for that league
Re: Agent's Fees
South Shields are fully professional too which is absolutely nuts for that level, can’t have ever happened before surely? Still, with all that that financial clout they’re second in the league to Buxton.
Re: Agent's Fees
That's my assumption that is the full list down to Step 4 everyone else paid £0.bga wrote: ↑Fri Apr 01, 2022 10:08 amAgree. I expect Macclesfield to appear on that list next season...
Re: Agent's Fees
I don't much like Robbie Savage but I did have to laugh when I watched that program about him and Macclesfield where he said one player they were trying to sign asked for the club to supply his family with food for the season I think in lieu of wages!lo36789 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 01, 2022 12:21 pmThat's my assumption that is the full list down to Step 4 everyone else paid £0.bga wrote: ↑Fri Apr 01, 2022 10:08 amAgree. I thought Jon Parkin had retired!
Re: Agent's Fees
I seem to recall Ilkeston going full time about 5 years ago with a squad full of young lads but the experiment failed and they reverted back.TKOA wrote:South Shields are fully professional too which is absolutely nuts for that level, can’t have ever happened before surely? I wouldn't understate Buxton's financial clout mind...
They signed Josh Granite straight off being Barrow's promotion winning captain to the EFL. Sean Newton and Diego Degirolamo went straight their from full time football...Johnny Saltmer has gone from our first choice to backup keeper with them.

Re: Agent's Fees
Stockport are doing something right, currently 10pts clear at top of National League. Just hate to think it has something to do with the amount of agents fees they shelled out. Money talks, obviously.
Re: Agent's Fees
Haha when they were plucking players from League One sides along with Wrexham it has given them a fighting chance.
Re: Agent's Fees
Cassidy and Charman named as the two DFC signings involving an agent in the 12 months to 31st Jan 22 (Charman obviously not a new signing)
