9) Dulwich Hamlet – 2680
I shudder at the thought of the predominant type of person who make up the crowds at Dulwich Hamlet, but they probably think Gareth Southgate is a superb manager.
If the Grauniad ran a football team . . .

and making people feel welcome who might not feel so welcomed at a lot of football clubs.
Looks like you weren't too far wrong with this statement!

If they can't afford promotion to the National League on average gates of 2,680 then they are paying their players too much, me thinks.
Or they need to do a Darlo style boost the budget, let the fans be their rich benefactor.
I have no idea why they would struggle on their gates, unless they have a ridiculous rent on the ground
I think this is partly the problem. I think (could be wrong) the land is owned by Sainsbury's. Dulwich is a pretty affluent part of London these days so land values will be significantly higher than other parts of the country.
Ticket prices are not much more than ours from what I remember so while gates might be twice the size of ours (or more), rent is probably several times more.
Players will probably be on higher wages as well purely because of London living costs. Same as almost any profession.

We will be playing at the arena again next season - fact.
Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.
