Fathers and sons who played for Darlington
Fathers and sons who played for Darlington
As Ben has signed it got me thinking of other fathers and sons who have played for Darlington.
Didn't Stevie Johnson play, and his son played in a Durham County Cup tie for us?

I think Reece Armstrong has appeared as a sub for us. Still counts even if his dad is picking the team

I think Martin Gray’s son once made an appearance in a Durham cup match.

Actually I think it was the last league game of the season when we were resting players ahead of the playoffs.CrazyDarlo wrote: ↑Thu Aug 18, 2022 8:54 pmI think Martin Gray’s son once made an appearance in a Durham cup match.

Didn’t Ricky Ravenhill’s son Liam play for us in a pre-season friendly last summer?

We will be playing at the arena again next season - fact.
Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

Rhys Armstrong is still on the books isn't he? Google says he is 19... apparently he has played for Blyth (when he was 16!) but I can't find a record of him playing for us. I'd assume he has at least played a Durham cup game, but I don't ever recall him featuring in the first team. There isn't much information out there about our academy team and to be honest I don't really follow it.
