Needing some suggestions to get me through the long summer drought with no footie.
Recently finished the latest of Peter James's DI Grace series, Peter May's Island Trilogy and on the latest book of James Oswald's DI Maclean books. Looking for something reasonably long-running in the way of thrillers.
Read all of the Jo Nesbo series so no more Scandi-noir for a bit.
Any suggestions?
Just ordered the first 3 DI Banks books (using the Uncovered link to Amazon as I always do) so any suggestions welcome.

Re: Looking for book recommendations
The best book I've read for years is "The Book Of Dave" by Will Self.
The plot is complicated so check it out to see if it's your kind of thing - but it is certainly a weighty read, it takes some getting through - but is brilliant.
PS, Will Self is bonkers!
