We will be playing at the arena again next season - fact.
Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

Re: Michael Smith
Getting back on topic, here's some Stoke fan's comments on Smith
"Comfortable 2-1! Will give more details tomorrow when I can confirm which players are which! Not very familiar with these guys I'm afraid! Can say for now that Capt. Lucas Dawson had a great game and scored a very good goal! The trialist from Darlington, if his name is Malcolm Smith and wore the number 9 shirt then he looked a real class act - took his goal with aplomb and was head and shoulders above most other players on show."
"Yeh, I can go with Michael Smith!! Tall rangy player - played basically up front as a lone striker but has a great 1st touch, holds ball up superbly and links well with oncoming players. Deceptively strong - held off 3 players - literally 4 feet from where me and me laddo were standing and slipped ball inside for midfield player. Class goal too - simply looked up and stroked ball into corner of net from just outside penalty box. He was the stand out player by far."

Go on son!
Having said that a 20 year old should stand out in an U-18 team.

Tried working it out, but at 19 years and 9 months, I fail to see how he can play for Stoke U-18's.....tail.number_one wrote:Work it out, tail.
Re: Michael Smith
You're allowed up to three 'over-age' players in an Academy league game, and probably even more in a friendly. Obviously you don't stick 28-year-olds in an under-18 game but it's common for 19 and occasionally 20-year-old players to play for the under-18s.

Hilly, I actually thought your first post was querying how, or why, a 20 year old would shine in an under 18 gameHilly wrote:Cheers mate.
