Marske beat Chester 4-0 away from home in tonight’s replay.
On Chester’s Twitter there is an explosive interview with Jonno. I’m not sure I’ve seen anything like it before - I wish some of our politicians were as straight talking as he is.
Certainly pulls no punches in his assessment of the game. Difficult to imagine Johnson and Morley remaining in charge much longer after this.
It's a bizarre situation when you've got Johnson on his own twitter feed having an interchange with fans - both backers and enemies - discussing his future and how (and whether) the joint managers can go forward from this. It can't be an appropriate way to conduct things in these circumstances and I can't imagine the club's board think it is.
Looks like someone who doesn’t want to be there but also doesn’t want to walk away from a contract. He’ll be singing “pay me up Mr Chairman” on the bus like big ex next.

In many ways it sounded like a resignation statement but without actually offering his resignation and saying it was up to the board to make a decision. Looked like he wanted putting out of his misery or perhaps they are secretly wanting the sack and have something else lined up.

I can't recall a manager ever before saying: "The recruitment was poor and the way we set up on the pitch has been s***."

Jonno always looks like he’s right on the edge, like he’s going to nut someone. I bet the interviewer was a touch nervous.

I found all that talk about his "big boy pants" and the sound of someone in the background apparently having fallen asleep strangely disarming though.

Jonno and Bernard receive vote of confidence from the Chester board.
