ANOTHER PLEA FOR HELP!

another plea for help!

Darlington are again asking for fans to help clear more snow off the Northern Echo Arena pitch to give today’s game against York the best chance.

About three inches of snow has fallen in Darlington overnight, throwing fresh doubt on today’s FA Cup second round tie against the Minstermen.

But staff have already cleared half of the pitch after starting at 5.30am this morning.

And general manager Phil Preston is confident the game will go ahead if they get more help.

“The pitch itself is fine,” said Phil.

“We’re gradually clearing the snow and we’ve got half off up to now but we could desperately do with a few more pairs of hands to get the rest off in the next couple of hours.

“At the moment I’m confident the game will go ahead.”
